I´m new to this site and really like the way it looks. What a neat idea! I store everything on my fridge and now I have a virtual one. Cool concept!
Anyway... I´m chit-chatty and was wondering how many of you are moms like me? I have 3 kids... varying ages! 14, 10 and 1 1/2! The two older ones are my boys and the baby is my princess, lol!
Hoping to get to know you all better!

I have 3 children also, 11,9, and 6. I don´t know about you, but sometimes it is rough. I have good kids, but they drive me crazy sometimes especially my 11 year old, hopefully it is the age.

Connie,
Wow! What a stressful situation. I don´t know about your daughter´s situation, but I can share mine and see if it helps.
I got pregnant in college with a boyfriend that I had only been seeing for a matter of weeks. The pregnancy made me realize that I needed to stop living my life for me and grow up a bit. The baby´s father and I ended up getting married when I was about 6 months pregnant and that was almost 15 years ago. We´re still together, still very much in love and we have 2 more kids.
My folks DID NOT like him at all when we first got married, but he´s proven himself, provided for his family and my mom and dad love him now.
I would just say give your daughter room to make her own decisions. She´s got to be scared, too. Your husband has to back off and let her come to you for advice. Maybe this isn´t the right guy for her, but he could be. Your DH has to just accept him for what he is right now. The father of his grandchild. Hopefully, he´ll come around! It took my dad a while to come around, too (stubborn German background, too!) but he did and is a great grandpa and FIL to my husband.
Good luck!

Antoinette,
No kidding! It sure is a quiet site so far. I hope the activity picks up a bit! I like the "fridge" concept. Everything goes on there and with as much as I´m in the computer off and on throughout the day, it´s a neat idea.
I´m in Southern Minnesota, I do home daycare to a few little ones to help bring in some extra $$. Thankfully, I don´t have to take in a full-load and I only have 2 extras right now and another starting at the end of the month which will put me right where I want to be. The two I have right now are almost one and have gotten to be good buddies with my 1 1/2 year old daughter. She gets a bit bossy at times, but is usually very good with the "babies".
Well, the coffee just finished brewing and I need to go pour my first cup of the morning! Nice meeting you, Antoinette!

Hi Sarah !
Yes, this site is wonderful. I love all of the recipes I´m collecting. I like experimenting with new foods, as I get bored with the same meals all the time. And I do love being able to store all the other neat info on my virtual fridge also !
I´m a stay-at-home mom with four children. I have two daughters, 19...almost 20, 16...almost 17, and two boys, 14 and 10.
Nice to meet you and all the others...hope everyone has a lovely day !

I´m disappointed that this site isn´t more active. I´ve clicked on so many things around here only to find one response...or maybe none. How new is the site? Someone went through a lot of heart and soul dedication, work, money and time to put this together. Where is everyone? Is it just difficult to get people to participate?
Anyway, I´m 36 with 4 children ages 16, 14, 9 and 8. Three boys, one 14 year old girl going on 30! I´ve been divorced and am now remarried and other than trying to figure out how to help my 14 year old make it through her teen years, my life is peaceful and happy!
Oh, I just now saw some responses below me! Off to read.........nice to meet you all!

Hi Sarah,
My daughter´s name. She is 11 and my son is 4 so - yes I sort of understand. Our fridge ran out of room so we also have a board up in the kitchen!!! Of course it might help if I were the kind of person who EVER took anyhthing down. LOL
It is a fun concept and I just signed on today. Hope to mingle a bit, chit and chat. : )

Hi Sarah,
I´ve got the 3 children family as well. Ages are 15, 12, and my little princess is 5. She starts Kindergarden on Monday and I am forced to face the fact that my baby is no longer a baby and now I have to wait some years before having grand-babies to have another one in my life :(
I love the fridge concept but have had a real difficult time trying to start a group. I keep entering it in but won´t seem to stick!
I would love to get to know more moms to swap sob stories and successes with.
Later,
Athena

Hi Sarah,
I am new as of today, and I just came across your post. It is nice to meet someone seeking others. I am a mom of one boy who is 23 months. I am also a business owner and looking for other moms such as myself to help each other out. What do you do? Are you stay at home mom, or do you have an additional responsibility of a career? I would love to find out more about you and you can ask me anything you want about my business as well.
Take care. Talk to you soon.

Hi everyone,
I recently joined this site and like what I see so far. I hope that in time others will find this site and will make it a better place to get and give information and advice.
I have a total of 6 kids, ranging in age from 8 to 6 mo. I have been a stay at home mom for 8 years now. I love it:) I also go to school full time, trying to get my degree so I can go to work when all the kids start school. lol (that would mean that I would have to stop having kids)
I hope to get to know everyone better,
Theresa

Hi, Sarah,
YadaHome is growing. Guess word is getting around.
I´m 41 yrs. old, married, working mother of two adopted children (siblings). Christian, my son, is 9 years old. His sister, Katelynn, is 5 years old. My husband is the one who wanted children (I was neutral) so it´s been a big adjustment for me. I love my job (career) and love the company I work for. I could never be a stay-at-home mom. I appreciate the time we spend together when they get home from school and on the weekends. But also enjoy being productive at work. They´re good kids and we love them a lot. God has blessed us. Anytime you want to chat, I´m here.

Hi there, My name is Shari and I am also a mom of 3, two boys ages 17 and 8 and a girl age 4. I am just recently married to her daddy, and I have to say that was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am a preschool teacher and so I am always busy with something, as I am sure we all are. I live in Colorado and love it here. My problemis this...his ex wife...sighhhhhhh. She is doing everything she can to try to make our lives miserable. She has tried to get me fired from my job, has told lies in court and has also told lies to the daughter by alienating her from her daddy. I love that iittle girl as if she were my own and I just am at my wits end as to what i should do about this...any advice would be great. Thanks so much.

Hi Everyone,
I am a single mom of one boy he´s 6. I remarried a year ago. I love the idea of this site. I am looking to meet other parents and get my family organized. It does seem a little sleepy though...what should we do to get it kick started?
